This is a portrait commission I have been meaning to do for quite a while. I was a bit intimidated by the size because I have been doing smaller than 8"x10" for so long. I had only one photo reference, and he is deceased, so I had to work with what I had. It is a very meaningful painting for his grandmother, so I really wanted to get it right. It is not done but this was what I was able to finish in one day, so now I will sit on it for a while and decide exactly what I need to do to polish it up. I welcome all comments.
